Tan Parker Endorsement Letter

On April 13th, 2015, State Representative of Texas, Tan Parker gave us the honor to endorse both our organization and our mission to end Human Trafficking.  Here is the letter that he wrote to our organizations founder Tonya Stafford.

To Whom It May Concern

It is with great pleasure that I write to extend my full support of the non-profit organization It’s Going to Be Ok, Inc. I am very excited about the plans this organization has for creating greater awareness and educating the public on identifying and aiding human trafficking victims.

The Texas Legislature has made the eradication of human trafficking at the state level and across our international borders a top priority for the 84th Legislative Session and as a State Representative in the North Texas region, I have faith that this organization will be a great leader in the North Texas effort to combat this modern day form of slavery.

It is the effort of organizations such as It’s Going to be Ok, Inc. that will address what has become a growing problem in Texas at the ground level. Through a variety of education and training programs, It’s Going to Be Ok, Inc. brings public awareness to the epidemic of human trafficking. The organization is also focused on establishing aid for healthcare professionals in clinical settings, our state court system and Child Protective Services (CPS).

Having come to know this organization and the work they are doing, I better understand the daunting task non-profits face in providing assistance and education related to human trafficking and I fully support the work of It’s Going to Be Ok, Inc. and their application for grant assistance. Thank you for carefully considering It’s Going to Be Ok, Inc. and my upmost recommendation on their behalf. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly if I can be of any further assistance in this matter.

Best Wishes,

Tan Parker
State Representative
